Here's some places I'd like to talk about. I'd like to say as a disclaimer that the things I might say about a place would be drawn from opinions formed over a very short period. It may reflect aspects you don't read in the travel journals and it could give you a bit of that extra edge while travelling. What it adds up to is that I am just one of those long weekend travellers, booking tickets/hotels/motels/rent-a-cars/ online...everything that identifies with the idea of the ordinary working person's travel holiday.

Bangkok and Ayuthaya - our latest and greatest

London - curry bliss
Stone Henge - circle of tourists
Paris - i thought this place was supposed to be romantic...

San Luis Obispo - one rainy night
Santa Barbara - were we in a postcard?
Los Angeles - too much to drive and not enough to see..er..wait..opinions later
Pismo Beach - charming night by the ocean
Nippomo Dunes - mountain lions? well thats all we need
Lompoc - hmmph...but yum chocolate

Vancouver - beauty, not only in the eyes of the beholder
Victoria - bit o' British charm

Boston - one trip ought to do it

Florida keys - ouch..something bit me..
Miami south beach - finally..something we came for

Pittsburgh - grey november days
Washington D.C. - mmmm...hot chocolate and stately buildings

Mohave Desert - purple roads
Las Vegas - why they all have the same carpets
Death Valley - a midsummer's driving experience

Toronto - sweet toronto

Chicago - a flavour of sorts

Orlando - the weather was nice

Wisconsin Dells - first impressions

Michigan/Lansing/Mount Pleasant/Detroit/Kalamazoo/Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti - well thats quite a jaunt for 15 days

this blog will contain posts of places we've been to, sights we've seen, things we've heard and felt, and our thoughts at those times.
